About the Event
Learn about all the ways you can get involved with the Edible Garden Project!
Are you looking to give back to the community in a meaningful way? Are you excited to get outside? Do you want to increase your knowledge of farming and gardening?
We have tons of different ways to get involved with the Edible Garden Project! Come out to Loutet Farm to meet the EGP team and learn more. We currently have opportunities to volunteer at our farm site (Loutet Farm), with our children's programs, at our markets or with our Sharing Gardeners, where volunteers grow food for donation to local organizations.
Orientations happen outside, so dress for the weather! Please wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.
*Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or if you've been in contact with anyone with a confirmed case of Covid-19. Washrooms and drinking water available on site. Please bring your own water bottle and gloves if possible. Covered area available for storing bags (please leave valuables at home). All skill levels welcome, no experience necessary!
