About the Event
Temple Adat Elohim presents "Through Children's Eyes"
November 10, 2025
An exclusive private premiere of Through Children's Eyes, a powerful new documentary that brings to life the poetry and artwork of children imprisoned at the Terezin concentration camp during the Holocaust. The film captures a once-in-a-lifetime concert held in the historic Attic Theatre at Terezin - the very place where secret musical performances were held during World War II, offering moments of hope amid the darkness. With music by acclaimed composer David Shukiar and libretto by Mark Saltzman, this moving tribute honors the voices of children whose creativity and resilience endured in the face of unimaginable hardship. This special Thousand Oaks event includes an exclusive post-screening talkback with the creators of the film, offering a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the making of this unforgettable piece. Don't miss this deeply meaningful cinematic experience that celebrates the enduring power of art, memory, and the human spirit.
