Join us for a free event celebrating the Filipinx youth community in the GTA to learn, share and connect!
RISE Tribe is excited to bring back RISE UP! Kick off Filipino Heritage Month with us at this free event dedicated to Filipinx Youth. Together we'll learn, connect and celebrate our culture through mentorship, networking, workshops, food and more!
This year's theme, Tulayan , means to bridge or to connect in many languages in the Philippines. The inaugural RISE UP in 2024 revealed a desire to connect and collaborate across Filipinx generations. So this year, RISE UP: TULAYAN aims to bridge Filipinx youth to each other, to other generations, to Filipinx culture and to possibilities. TULAYAN celebrates the curiosity, empathy, understanding and openness of exploring our unique, yet interwoven, experiences.
