About the Event
Interested in using photography as a way to practice mindfulness? Join us in the unique Urquhart Butterfly Garden, Dundas to learn more.
Mindful photography encourages being present in the moment, enhances awareness & connection with the environment, promotes relaxation and creativity, and helps to develop a greater appreciation of the beauty around us.
Join me for an informal walk in nature at the unique Urquhart Butterfly Garden in Dundas ( https://urquhartbutterfly.com ).

Any camera will do including your phone. Washrooms not available. Free parking. Bring water, sunscreen and bug spray (apply in the parking lot before entering the garden).
Mindfulness Facilitator:
Patrice Palmer (M.Ed., M.A.) is an adult educator with 30 years of experience teaching in Canada and Hong Kong. She currently teaches Positive Education at Wilfrid Laurier University and taught Positive Psychology, the science of human flourishing, at Mohawk College. Patrice is a Mindfulness Facilitator and Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and likes to incorporate mindful movement in her facilitation. She is interested in exploring how art, nature, and photography can be integrated into mindfulness practices.
These sessions are free.
