This season includes Dvorak Symphony No. 8 , Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and Symphony No. 5, Mozart Symphony No. 31, Beethoven Symphony No. 6 and works by Bach, Sibelius, Copland, Rachmaninoff.
You may be suprised by the stellar soloists we bring to the local stage: pianist Michael Berkovsky performs Rachmaninoff's Variations on a Theme of Paganini, superstar Joel Quarrington debuts Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations on double bass, our own Mark Whale and Erik Wawrzkiewic perform the Bach Concerto for Two Violins and Luke Welch treats us to black composer Florence Price's recently re-discovered Piano Concerto.
