*****Trail Accessibility Information:
Trail surface/conditions:Most of these trails have a sandy or mowed grass surface. Some areas have deep sand and uneven surfaces. Several boardwalks exist within the preserve.
Potential obstacles/barriers/hazards:Trails adjacent to the bay and mangrove shorelines often experience temporary flooding and wash out due to rain and high tide events. Boardwalks may also be slippery following rain and tidal events. Uneven terrain, roots and stumps are associated with this natural area preserve. To prevent ATV entry, visitors must pass through pedestrian walk throughs and chicane gates to enter the preserve. Certain trails may be closed depending on bald eagle nesting activity.
Accessibility options available:There are no ADA accessible trails in this preserve; trails are sandy/mowed natural surfaces.
