Deaf President Now screening with DPN4's Jerry Covell! Come remember the past and celebrate the future of the Deaf community. #DPN
Join us for a powerful evening celebrating Deaf history and unity at the Deaf President Now movie screening! This event brings together the Deaf community, interpreters, families, friends, and allies for a night of education, engagement, and celebration.
5:00 - 6:00 PM- Community support services vendor tables open.
🕕 6:00-7:00 PM - Special guest speaker Jerry Covell, one of the original DPN4 leaders, will share insights and stories from the historic 1988 Deaf President Now movement.
🎥 7:00 PM - Screening of Deaf President Now documentary begins.
🍿 Enjoy free popcorn, ice cream, and soda🛍️ Explore local Deaf organization booths
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect across generations, learn about the legacy of Deaf activism, and celebrate the strength and resilience of our shared community. Everyone is welcome!
