Presented by the Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center, this powerful performance celebrates the cultural heritage, stories, and pioneers who paved the way for today's artists. Through a dynamic blend of ballet, Hiplet™, African, modern, and contemporary styles, dancers explore themes of identity, resilience, and transformation. Each piece reflects the beauty of legacy — passed from generation to generation — and the power of movement to carry history forward. With original choreography and compelling storytelling, Gift of Legacy invites audiences to reflect on what we inherit, what we preserve, and what we pass on.
