About the Event
Documentary Thursdays Presents "The Murals" at Third Space Chicago on June 26, 2025 at 7:00 PM (Central Time).
The murals in Chicago's Uptown post office were created in 1943 by American architect, painter, sculptor, muralist, and potter Henry Varnum Poor. They celebrate two of Chicago's cultural icons, Carl Sandburg and Louis Sullivan, and serve as reminders of the importance of government funding of the arts.
