As part of the ongoing exhibition LUMINOSITY: The Ocean Between VIII , this hands-on workshop explores light as both material and metaphor in contemporary sculpture.
Led by international exhibiting artist Franz Betz, participants will experiment with how light interacts with form, space, and shadow using a variety of sculptural techniques. All materials provided; open to all experience levels.
This event is one of several public programs expanding the ideas of the exhibition into interactive, community-centered formats.

LUMINOSITY: The Ocean Between VIII brings together international and Chicago-based artists whose work reflects the intersections of culture, imagination, and personal mythology through painting, sculpture, installation, and mixed media.
