PUA Camp 2025 is a premier, hands-on training camp built for umpires who are serious about taking their game to the next level. Whether you're newer to umpiring, aiming for advancement, or looking to sharpen your mechanics, this camp is designed for you.
Led by Bobby Tassone (former MiLB and current NCAA Division I umpire) and supported by a roster of 7 experienced instructors — including Thomas Burrell Jr(MiLB, D1), Terry Byrd(MiLB, Collegiate) , Scott Trottier (2025 D3 Regional) & more — PUA Camp offers personalized training that will prepare you for real-world success.
In 2024, PUA proudly sent TWO scholarship winners to the prestigious UPC Umpire Placement Course in Fort Pierce, FL — and both earned jobs in the Northwoods League! Now it's your turn.
- Live Games: Umpire real games and apply techniques in live action.
- Classroom Sessions: Deep dives into rotations, responsibilities, and mental preparation.
- Mechanics Training: Master advanced 2-umpire system techniques used at the collegiate and professional levels.
- Umpire Responsibilities: Learn professional game management, situational handling, communication, and off-field professionalism.
- Gear & Meals Included: Camp gear provided for all campers, along with daily catered food and hydration.
