About the Event
In each workshop we will practice harvesting and post-harvest handling a variety of seasonal produce growing on the farm.
This growing season, we will offer a monthly series of workshops at our South Chicago Farm to support the development of local aspiring growers. A ticket for the workshop is $100; we. are offering a reduced cost ticket of $25 in exchange for 3 workshare hours at our South Chicago farm. Workshare hours need to be completed a week in advanceof the workshop date in order for the reduced cost to be honored. If they are not completed, the ticket holder will be charged the additional $75 upon arrival to the workshop. Each workshop includes:

Seasonal Harvest: Come learn how to set up your harvest day for success! We will introduce you to a simple processing station, harvest sequencing, the right tools for the job and our harvesting tips for efficiency and abundance. In each workshop we will practice harvesting and post-harvest handling a variety of seasonal produce growing on the farm.
