About the Event
Join us for a night of awesome live music with Lexi Tieffel!
Join us in supporting Lexi Tieffel and her musical journey with American Idol and beyond. Lexi Tieffel is a 17-year-old Junior at MSHS. She has been singing since a very young age, putting on dancing and singing shows for her parents and anyone who would watch and listen. She took piano/vocal lessons for a few years at Champaign School of Music and began singing with adult ministries at First Christian Church at the age of 12. She also joined Art in Motion for Musical Theater where her passion for performing grew. At 14, her mentor encouraged her to audition for singing The National Anthem for University of Illinois athletic events, and she was selected to perform numerous times for crowds of more than 15,000. During this same time, a good friend introduced her to several area bands (Tom Grassman, Doublewide, AllNighter, Red Hot Winter band, etc.) who encouraged and allowed her to sing with them on stage at various venues. At 15, she entered and won a singing competition at StarPower. Upon the urging of several individuals who heard her sing and praying for a sign from God, she auditioned for and received a golden ticket on American Idol's season 23. She has been writing songs for a bit now, and she just released her first original "The Way" out on all platforms! Make sure to go listen!
