Save the Date: Second Kebedom Family Reunion in Chicago, IL!
Dear Family,
We are thrilled to announce that the Second Kebedom Family Reunion will be held in Chicago, IL! Here are the dates to mark on your calendars:
- Sunday, July 27, 2025
- Monday, July 28, 2025
- Tuesday, July 29, 2025
The Planning Committee, led by Leelai Demoz and Naomi Araya, are diligently working out the final details, including the cost per person. Once everything is finalized, we will send an update via email.
In the meantime, we kindly ask you to RSVP so we can begin gathering a headcount of attendees.
Sunday:
- Evening dinner cruise on Lake Michigan, departing and returning to Navy Pier.
Monday:
- Group dinner at Awash Ethiopian Restaurant with a private space reserved for our gathering.
Tuesday:
- Catered lunch in a rented space for family time and bonding.
- Closing event featuring Chicago-style pizza at a location to be determined.
In addition to these events, there will be opportunities each day for everyone to explore the city and enjoy activities with family members of their choosing.
We are also planning to create reunion shirts for everyone. Once the costs and payment details are finalized, we will send out an email with instructions.
We are excited to come together for another unforgettable reunion. Thank you for your patience as we finalize the details, and we look forward to seeing you all in Chicago!
