About the Event

Celebrate Pride Month with queer RPGS by queer creators and queer tales for queer players!

Wizard Staffing Co. is pleased to bring an afternoon of roleplaying games to Chicago Athletic Association for Pride Month, celebrating Queer stories and Queer Gaming!

If you have ever been interested in playing a roleplaying game, this is your chance, no experience necessary! We have SEVEN different adventures to choose from!

Viva la QueerBar is a slice-of-life story game about a queer bar (or queer café) and the team who runs it. It's a game about the pleasures and struggles of being part of a queer community. Whether as a fantasy medieval tavern, a cyberpunk underground club, a real-world gay bar in a historical setting, an intergalactic queer bar on a spaceship, or anything else you can think of - the QueerBar lives wherever you want it to.

Be Gay Do Crimes!(a gay Honey Heist hack) Written for Pride Month in 2018, Be Gay Do Crimes takes all the fun of doing heists and combines it with the inevitable crushes formed within a queer social group. This game was hacked from Honey Heist, written by Grant Howitt. His Patreon can be found here: www.patreon.com/gshowitt

Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, the perennial favorite since 1974. We will be running 5th Edition (2014 ruleset) at this event! We'll provide pregenerated characters for you to use.

Girl by Moonlightis a game about the tragic struggles and defiant triumphs of a group of magical girls resisting an oppressive society. Girl by Moonlight explores the heartbreak of denying who you really are, and the transcendent power of relationships and community.

(Queer) Kids on Bikes is a collaborative world building RPG set in small towns with big mysteries, players take on the roles of small town heroes facing big adventure.Choose your OWN destiny in this storytelling rules-light tabletop role-playing game where adventure is a bike ride away!

Rogueland is a 36 page rules-light, tabletop role-playing game. It is based on Ben Milton's Knave with modifications that focus on: defining characters by the items they carry rather than specific abilities or class features; interpreting and casting free-form magic; monster, trap, and treasure generation; exploration procedures and more! This game uses player-facing, roll-high, d20 mechanics, and is broadly compatible with other Old School Renaissance games and source materials.Rogueland Adventure: The Gardens of Ynnis a point-crawl adventure set in an ever-shifting extradimensional garden. Each expedition randomly generates a new route as it explores, resulting in different vistas being unlocked with every visit. Every room is stacked full of whimsy, delight and surreal perils, so that even the procedurally generated adventure is novel and tightly themed.

Great Soul Train Robbery. On the road to hell there was a railway line. An express train to the infernal city of Dis, crewed by furies and carrying treasure and souls to damnation. You're going to rob it. The Great Soul Train Robbery is a tabletop roleplaying game for 2-6 players and 1 gamemaster about Desperados robbing the train to Hell.

No experience necessary! Our Dungeon Masters will teach and guide throughout the session, so this opportunity is great for beginners and veterans alike.
