Join us for an evening of hands-on floral creativity hosted at the London Bicycle Café!
Amanda of Living With Rosess will guide you though the basics of watercolour and mixed media techniques. You'll learn a number of watercolour techniques combined with ink and sea glass to create unique arrangements that last a lifetime. Each person will take home a black matted 5x7 painting ready to fit a shadowbox frame. One lucky participant will even win a $25 gift card from Living with Rosess.
Farmer-florist Amy St. John will teach participants how to create a garden-inspired floral arrangement using local blooms grown at Almanac Flower Co. Early June blooms may include, ranunculus, peonies, poppies and more! You'll learn the basics of how to clean and care for floral ingredients and how to select elements for floral design. Amy will guide you though the steps to designing a beautiful and sustainable floral arrangement.
This workshop will be a laid-back learning experience that allows participants to unwind and explore their creativity. One non-alcoholic drink of your choice from London Bike Café is included in the ticket price. At the end of the workshop, you'll walk away your art, a locally grown floral arrangement and new confidence in your artistic skills.
