About the Event
This camp is for high school students to prepare them for college science and professional science.
The STEM Summer Camp invites high school students entering grades 10-12 to dive into the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through hands-on activities, participants will explore cutting-edge scientific concepts, discover how biomedical research impacts our daily lives, and gain experience using modern, real-world equipment. Staying overnight on Niagara University's campus enhances this experience, offering students the chance to fully immerse themselves in a dynamic and enriching environment. Not only will they get to explore the beautiful campus, but they'll also develop a sense of independence and responsibility as they experience life on a college campus. Join us for a week of discovery, learning, and fun!
Students will delve into robotics, DNA testing, archaeology, environmental science, and even marine biology, fostering creativity and critical-thinking skills.
The overnight camp also includes guest lectures, field trips, and opportunities for networking with peers who share similar interests.
By the end of the program, students will have gained valuable knowledge, practical skills, and a deeper understanding of academic and career pathways in the STEM fields.
Cost is $950 includes registration fee, stay in apartment, all food, field trips and all supplies (lab coat, goggles, and lab notebook) .
