About the Event
A transformative and grounding experience with our gentle rescue horses for anyone who has spent time working on the front lines.
Boots on the Ground is a workshop for those who have served in military, are currently serving and/or first responders (fire/police/paramedic).
Join us for a transformative 2-hour workshop with horses—a unique experience that goes beyond traditional talk therapy. Through hands-on interactions, you'll discover how these intuitive animals can help us better understand ourselves and uncover what might be ‘off' in our lives.
This workshop is perfect if you've felt stuck, overwhelmed, or found that traditional approaches haven't provided the clarity you need.
By the end of this experience, you'll gain powerful insights into how human behavior mirrors horse behavior, leaving you feeling more grounded, self-aware, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater ease.
No riding experience is necessary and all activities take place on the ground.
Facilitated by Laura Boyko, an approved VAC provider. Laura holds a Master degree in Educational Leadership, Master of Social Work degree, is an ICF Leadership Coach (ACC) and certified equine assisted learning facilitator. She has managed over 12 teams and hundreds of staff during her leadership tenure.
What past participants have said about Stable Works events:

"The rain couldn't dampen the excitement with the horses. I could feel their energy, which initially made me nervous, but Laura and the other facilitators were so attentive that I left feeling really relaxed!"
" A unique way to do some self-care."
"The horses were so fun and it was a cool experience to be so close to them. "
