About the Event
Join special guests from the MacLaren Art Centre for a PA Day afternoon of creativity and hands-on learning.
📅 Ages: 5-10 📌 Wasaga Beach Public Library card required for r egistration.
In the Making Workshops, presented by the MacLaren Art Centre, are inspired by Canadian petroglyphs—some of the earliest forms of visual storytelling.
In this engaging PA Day program, MacLaren artists will explore how art has long been used to share stories and reflect community identity. Children will learn about Canadian petroglyphs and their significance, then get hands-on by creating their own two-dimensional drawings and expressive clay vessels, complete with carved patterns.
🎨 Dress for a mess—art supplies are included! 📌 Registration required
Please note: Parents/guardians are asked to remain on the premises. While seats are limited in the program room, there will be seating available nearby.
