About the Event
A concert to benefit the Toronto Community Justice Fund and the Davenport Aid Brigade
Featuring:
Doors 8, Show 8:30 PWYC, All ages
All proceeds to the Toronto Community Justice Fund ( tcjf.ca ) and the Davenport Aid Brigade ( @davenportaidbrigade )
Masks will be encouraged and provided. This venue is wheelchair accessible, including the washroom. There will be amplified music at this event. The show will begin at about 8:30pm and be finished by10:30pm, with one 15-minute intermission. Please email dinah@dinahthorpe.com with any accessibility questions.
Keisha Bell is a Jamaican-born, Toronto-based pianist, composer, and arranger. She released her first album in 2022, Caribbean Yellow - a collection of tunes based on the work of Jamaican writer and poet Olive Senior. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in jazz studies at York University and performs occasionally around the city.

Natalie Fasheh is an artist, community-builder, and social impact leader. Natalie is passionate about creating out-of-the-box performing arts experiences that transport us into transformative possibilities for humanity. She creates through several mediums, including arts administration, choral composition and conducting, and writing. Natalie is a mezzo-soprano with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance. She also has the pleasure of sharing Arabic music as a guest singer, clinician, and choral arranger.

Tarek Kabbani is a Lebanese-Canadian self-taught multi instrumentalist and vocalist who grew up in Kuwait. Tarek's first instrument was the drumkit in 2005, and after many years of exploration and discovery, Tarek's latest focus is handpan and loopstation. Fusing various techniques and styles to create his own sound, Tarek is an improvisational specialist who creates sound in the spot, in the moment - showcasing something unique, entertaining, and memorable every time.
