About the Event
You'll be guided in using various notched trowels & palette knives to create your own textured artwork with drywall compound on a canvas!
Start time - 7:00 pm
LET'S GET PLASTERED AND HAVE FUN AT - FAIRWEATHER BREWING CO.
Join us for a fun-filled evening where you get to explore your creativity through various textured art techniques. I will be guiding you all the way, so get ready to unleash your inner artist as we dive into the world of plaster art - Don't be scared to get your hands dirty!
What's Included?
An approximate 1. 5-2 hour experience
Apron, canvas (12"x16"), and all supplies and tools needed
Example art pieces for inspiration - also save some on your phone by searching "textured art" on Google, Instagram, Pinterest & Etsy
Paint pots & Brush
Take-home care & touch-up kit
A one-of-a-kind art piece to cherish or gift to someone special
BYOS (bring your own snacks - as there is no food on site)
Note:
Drinks can be purchased at an additional cost.
Your artwork will travel home with you at the end of the event. You will have to lay it flat to dry for at least 24 hours.
VENUE HIGHLIGHT
After a few incidents of fate and circumstance, Fairweather opened its doors in May 2017. We made our home in a revitalized warehouse in west Hamilton's Ainslie Wood neighbourhood.
In addition to a taproom and bottle shop, we have a 60 seat patio, and a 10, 000 square foot production facility which doubles as an event space.
