About the Event
Explore the world of off-loom weaving and create your extraordinary piece of textile art.
Discover the art of off-loom weaving in our workshop dedicated to creating large-scale masterpieces using thick, luxurious merino wool roving. In this immersive 3-hour session, you'll delve into the techniques of handling and working with roving while mastering fundamental weaving skills.
Participants can choose to make either an 18"x24" piece or a 36"x48" piece, allowing for flexibility in the scale of your creation.
What's Included:
Wood dowel (appropriate size for chosen piece) for hanging your weaving
Abundant merino roving for your weaving project
Instructional booklet
Materials Quality Assurance: Our merino wool roving is sourced responsibly; it's MULESING FREE, and the dyeing process complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, ensuring the highest quality and ethical standards.
Experience Level: No prior experience is necessary. Whether you're a novice or an experienced crafter, this workshop provides the perfect opportunity to explore the world of off-loom weaving and create your extraordinary piece of textile art.
