Lake Erie E. coli Blitz at Fort Erie Public Library - Centennial Branch on June 26, 2025 at 4:30 PM
Want to help keep your local waters safe for swimming? Join us for our first-ever E. coli Blitz ! We'll train you to collect water samples, use Water Rangers' new E. coli testkit, and work together to monitor popular swim spots before the weekend.
As part of this event, we'll also be validating the ROTH R-Cards™ against other methods, including IDEXX testing and a bacterial risk assessment. Select samples will be sent to a lab for eDNA analysis , giving us deeper insights into microbial water quality.
🗓️ When: Friday afternoon (exact date TBD) 📍 Where: Fort Erie Public Library 🧪 No experience needed —just curiosity and a love for clean water!
