About the Event
Espresso yourself and celebrate Asian Heritage Month by painting with upcycled coffee grounds—art made with a latte love!
Join us for a cozy and creative evening at Coffee & Canvas Paint Night: Asian Heritage Month on May 23rd from 6:30-7:30 PM at Studio. 89 (2520 Eglinton Ave W, Unit 1, Mississauga, ON, L5M 0Y4)! 🎨☕️
This month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and beauty of Asian cultures while embracing the power of sustainability. Sip on a warm cup of coffee and create beautiful artwork using eco-friendly watercolor paints made from upcycled coffee grounds collected right from our non-profit café! 🌎✨
Our unique coffee paints reflect our deep commitment to environmental stewardship and give new life to what would otherwise be waste — blending art, culture, and climate action in one inspiring evening.
🌟 What to Expect:
A welcoming, creative atmosphere with all materials provided
Hands-on guidance and demonstrations to spark your imagination
An opportunity to reflect on and honor Asian heritage through your own art
Light background music, community connections, and warm café vibes
A chance to learn about upcycling and eco-art practices firsthand
Community Benefit:
By celebrating the rich traditions and stories of Asian communities through sustainable art-making, this event empowers participants to connect deeply with heritage while embracing eco-conscious practices. It sparks intergenerational dialogue, supports local artists, and transforms a simple evening into a powerful act of community resilience, creativity, and climate action.
Through upcycling the coffee retention from our non-profit café, we create natural coffee watercolor paints — reducing waste while inspiring a greener, more connected world. ♻️🎨
We can't wait to create, connect, and celebrate with you! 🌸
