Making Space For Grief: A Workshop and Sound Bath Experience

Grief is a universal human experience, yet it shows up differently for each of us—sometimes as waves, sometimes as weight, always as a force shaping how we live with loss. In this workshop, we'll reflect, learn, and locate where grief lives within us, guided by visualization and gentle inquiry. We will also create space to integrate and release through a deep sound bath meditation journey.

Jen Horak, RP
Jen Horak (they/them) is a licensed psychotherapist and creative coach with over a decade of experience supporting clients in healing, growth, and self-discovery. In their private practice, they draw on relational and somatic therapy modalities to help people navigate challenges in both mind and body. As a queer, non-binary, able-bodied person of Danish and Czech ancestry, Jen brings a perspective that is both grounded in professional expertise and informed by lived experience.

Danielle Lande (Soft Soul Healing)
Danielle Lande is a musician, sound healer, Reiki Master, psychic medium, and oracle card reader. Drawing on 20+ years of musical training as a professional singer, songwriter, and composer, Danielle creates sound experiences that are both intuitively guided and technically refined. Each carefully selected instrument offers distinct energetic qualities and healing benefits, creating a multidimensional experience that addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

- Doors open: 6:45pm
- The event will take place at Roam LA in Frogtown. 1492 Blake Ave.
Logistics:
- Bring a yoga mat. Blankets and bolsters will be provided.
- Bring a journal and pen. We will provide paper and pens if you don't have your own.
- During the workshop, you will be seated or lying down on a yoga mat. Please let us know ahead of time if you will need a chair provided.
