About the Event
Santa and Mrs. Claus are coming to the Caswell House! Little ones will fill with delight as they enjoy story time with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
See the wonder and magic of Christmas through the eyes of a child unfold as Santa, joined by Mrs. Claus, reads a Christmas book to all the children in our Milk, Cookies and Storytime event.
Parents, bring your cameras. Santa and Mrs. Claus will happily take photos before and after the event with you child {helpers will be assisting with our photo line}.
Austin Junior Forum is asking guests of this event to bring a new or gently used children's book to be donated to our community service partners.
If the event is not sold out, tickets may be sold at the door until we reach capacity.
Proceeds from Christmas at the Caswell House help support women, children, and the elderly in the Austin area through our grants program along with the preservation the historic Daniel H. Caswell home. The volunteer women of the Austin Junior Forum appreciate your support!
This magical and special afternoon includes a craft and sing-a-long with Santa and Mrs. Claus too.
FAQs
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Menus will be posted upon receipt from the caterer that is generously donating. We will NOT be able to accommodate gluten or other food allergies. There MAY be gluten free/vegetarian options, but we can NOT guarantee them.
Are the events handicap accessible?
The Caswell House is handicap accessible through the elevator at the rear of the building. Parking for guests with disabilities is available in The Caswell House parking lot.
Are strollers permitted?
Strollers are NOT permitted; highchairs and booster seats are not available.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Due to limited parking, we encourage carpooling & taking ride shares or taxis.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You do not have to bring your printed ticket to the event, but you may if you so choose. Upon arrival, please check-in at the front desk. Physical tickets will NOT be mailed to you.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
The attendee name does NOT have to match the purchaser name but all guests should be prepared to check-in under the name of the person who purchased their ticket.
