ABOUT THE LINEUP
One of seven siblings, headliner ANTHONY BONAZZO honed his skills in childhooddoing impressions of family members at the dinner table.
No longer grounded to his room, he's now the host of Anthony Bonazzo Presents, is a monthly headliner at The Comedy Bar, and performs regularly at Zanies, The Comedy Bar, and comedy clubs all over the Midwest.
Following the success of his hit stand-up special Northside Southside (now available on Tubi TV), he was featured in in viral videos for The Onion, got a spotlight on Dry Bar Comedy, and toured as the opener for heavy-hitters like Michael Che, Kathleen Madigan, Jessica Kirson, and Roy Wood Jr. - and recently opened for Vir Das and Adam Carolla at the Park West Theater.
A Glenview favorite, Anthony's bringing his boundary-pushing perspective back to The Laughing Academy - and as he puts is, “That’s comedy; if you’re not pushing the envelope, why are you doing it?”

Like Tom Petty - but with nicer nails - MANNY PETTYis a comedian and musician, a first-generation Sicilian-American, a happily gay-married house-husband, and a former punk rocker turned clown.
Manny's hit set “Thirst Trap Salon” went viral, garnering rave reviews and getting featured on WGN TV’s Spotlight Chicago, while his single " Let's Get Fat Together" made #40 on the A/C 200 charts! He was featured in the "Comedians to Watch Showcase" at the Loons on the Lake Comedy Festival, has headlined at The Laugh Factory, Zanies Chicago, The Lincoln Lodge, Laugh It Uptown, Laughs at Atmosphere, and The Comedy Clubhouse, and also opened for Beth Stelling, Cameron Esposito, and Matteo Lane among others.
