About the Event

A festive celebration of stunning choral music, traditional carols and seasonal readings for the holidays to fill you with Christmas cheer!

San Diego Chamber Choir Stellarum is back with their fourth annual Festival of Christmas.

This FREEconcert will feature festive choral favorites, including familiar classics and wonderful new interpretations of beloved sacred and secular music, as well as joyful and thoughtful poems and readings for the Christmas season. The concert will also include audience-participation carols to truly get you in the holiday mood.

Music will include:

In The Bleak Mid-Winter

Mendelssohn's "Jauchzet dem Herrn, alle Welt" (Psalm 100)

Mocnik's "Christus est Natus"

Todd's "My Lord Has Come"

Pearsall's "In Dulci Jubilo"

Arnesen's "Dormi, Jesu"

Bob Chilcott's "Shepherd's Carol"

White's "O Magnum Mysterium"

And traditional carols for the audience to join, including "Hark the Herald Angels Sing", "Angels We Have Heard on High", "O Little Town of Bethlehem", and more!

Tickets are free but limited. Doors will open at 4:30 pm.
