About the Event
Enjoy rich and enveloping music from three exceptional musicians, featuring original and traditional songs in Irish, French, and English.
The Folk Music Society of New York is thrilled to present traditional music trio Grosse Isle. Grosse Isle was born out of the “absolutely magical” collaboration between three exceptional musicians from Quebec and Ireland (The Irish Music Magazine). Together, Sophie Lavoie (fiddle, piano, vocals), François-Félix Roy (Aldor Emerging Artist Award winner for guitar, podorhythmie), and Fiachra O'Regan (All Ireland Champion on uilleann pipes, whistle, banjo & vocals) shine with their rich and enveloping music. This concert is co-sponsored by Délégation Générale du Québec à New York. After online sales end, tickets will be available at the door.
