"A Night of Peace, A Night of Song"
Our Winter Concert, A Night of Peace, A Night of Song, on Saturday, December 13, 2026, will feature Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s Messe de minuit pourNoël. Better known as the Midnight Mass for Christmas, Charpentier wrote this work in 1694 and used the melodies of ten French Christmas Carols as the basis of his composition. This will be the debut performance of LISCA’s conductor, Jonathan Bley! The concert program also includes several other sacred, secular, and seasonal works for choir:
