About the Camp

At Education Polis, students don't just play with robots—they
design

build
, and
code
them. Guided by award-winning instructors and national robotics champions, our summer camp gives kids a hands-on STEM experience that prepares them for real-world engineering and competition.
We offer two age-specific tracks:
- VEX IQ (Ages 9-13): A beginner-friendly robotics platform with snap-together parts. Students will explore design thinking, mechanical building, and block-based to Python coding.
- VEX V5 (Ages 14+): An advanced robotics experience using metal components, sensors, and industry-level coding in C++.

Taught by Champions

Our instructors include a UIUC Industrial Design major and VEX award-winner, a VEX World Champion from Saratoga High, and a UCI PhD engineering student. Their mentorship fuels creativity, growth, and student success.
