Frank Fiction is the new project from Juno Award-winning songwriter Elias Dummer (frontman of The City Harmonic). Debuting live at Crown & Press—the art gallery and café he co-founded—this one-night concert features new, unreleased alt-folk songs and a few unexpected covers.
Drawn from songs quietly crafted over two decades, this set toes the line between vulnerability and a crooked smile—blending lyrical honesty, wry wit, and melodic arrangements.
In Frank Fiction, Dummer channels the spirit of Ben Folds, Rufus Wainwright, Andy Shauf, and John Prine—heartfelt, poignant, and playful all at once. With over 100 million streams, a Juno Award, and multiple Billboard-charting songs to his name, here he sidesteps the familiar for something looser, grounded, and human.
