Over the course of the session(s), you'll be introduced to the three primary methods of handbuilding: pinch, coil, and slab construction. Each technique opens up a world of creative possibilities, allowing you to shape clay into a wide variety of forms—from simple cups, bowls, and plates to expressive sculptures and decorative vessels. You'll also explore basic surface decoration techniques such as texturing, carving, and applying underglazes or slips to personalize your pieces.

Under the guidance of an experienced ceramic artist, you'll not only learn the technical skills to work confidently with clay but also gain a deeper appreciation for the meditative and grounding nature of the craft.
