About the Event
The Grand Hunt 2025 is Toronto's most exciting springtime treasure hunt! Taking place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, this free community event invites treasure hunters to scour mid- and downtown Toronto for ten hidden treasure chests. Each chest contains a unique scroll that can be redeemed at The Grand Order of Divine Sweets café for incredible prizes, including handcrafted goodies and cash-filled chocolate smash eggs.
This year, the stakes are higher than ever, with two Grand Prizes: a $1,000 cash-filled chocolate smash egg and a $500 cash-filled chocolate smash egg. Follow @thegoodsweetsto on Instagram and Facebook throughout the day for location clues starting at 10:00 AM. Be the first to find a chest, bring it to the café at 1162 Queen St W, and claim your prize!
In addition to the treasure hunt, hundreds of prizes will be given away from the Easter Basket of Prizes at the café from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Stop by to join the fun and try your luck!
All treasure chests will be hidden in accessible public locations, and no digging or property disturbance is required. This event emphasizes community spirit, fun, and safety. For more information or to get a head start with early clues, visit the café before April 11 and chat with the staff.
