Save the date for the 17th Thankful to Give on Thanksgiving Day Event happening on November 27th at 9 AM! Join us for a day of service!
IMPORTANT: If the event says sold out on Eventbrite, please feel free to COME. The event is not sold out; there is no limit to the number of people who can come to spread compassion, love, and smiles. Hope to see you there!
Socks 4 Souls (S4S) is an organization founded in 2009, dedicated to directly impacting homeless individuals across the United States.
On Thursday, November 27th at 9 AM (gathering at 8-8:55 am), will be our 17th Annual Thankful to Give on Thanksgiving Event!! Spread love, conversations, smiles, and compassion while serving our community with hygiene kits. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to look at our posts on Facebook (Socks4Souls) as they are very informative, or message us! SPREAD THE WORD, everyone can contribute!
Schedule for Event:
Thursday, November 27th, 2025:
8:00 am - Meet at Pershing Square on 5th and South Hill Street to prepare bags and carts for easy giving.
8:30 am - Gather for an overview of the day/ group picture.
9:00 am - Begin the walk from Pershing Square to Skid Row.
9:30 am - Walk through Skid Row, passing out socks, hygiene kits, water, conversations, and smiles.
10:30 am - Walk back to Pershing Square.
11:00 am - Conclude event.
Skid Row is an area in LA that houses over 3,000 homeless individuals. This is a great way to give back to your local community. Instead of taking donations, such as socks, coats, blankets, hygiene kits, and bottles of water to a local shelter, we take them directly to people in need... Our goal is to pass out conversations, smiles, and lots of compassion. It's truly a life-changing day... JOIN US!
