In light of the ongoing fire emergency in Los Angeles, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming panel event, “Election Reflections: Latino Voters and the Future of American Politics,” originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the Los Angeles Athletic Club.

Our top priority is the safety of our participants, attendees, staff, and the greater Los Angeles community. Our thoughts are with all those affected by the fires and the first responders working tirelessly to protect our communities.

We know this event - presented as part of the UCLA Luskin Lecture Series in partnership with the UCLA Latino Policy & Politics Institute - promises to be an insightful discussion on the growing influence of Latino voters in American politics. Our discussion, moderated by Univision news anchor Jorge Ramos, will cover voter turnout trends, key issues motivating Latino voters, and the geographic and demographic factors influencing their choices.
