International Colour Genius Program

This program offers a chance to achieve a colour mastery certification. The International Colour Genius Program is the highest recognized hair colour certification at Davines, rewarding hair colourists worldwide with exceptional knowledge and technical skill.

Get ready for the program:

- The recommended pre-requisite seminars are:
- Color with Confidence
- Color Challenge
- Blonde with Confidence
- Freehand with confidence
- Color lab

How to get into the program:

Score 85% on the entrance exam consisting of 5 assessments .

(Davines, Sustainability, Color Science, Color Product Knowledge, Care Product Knowledge)

Participant have 3 tries to pass each module within 30 days.

Entrance Exam

- Please allow 24-48 business hours to receive the entrance exam.
- Entrance Exam must be completed within 30 days.
- You are allowed 3 tries per module. (Davines, Sustainability, Color Science, Color Product Knowledge, Care Product Knowledge Modules)
- Passing score of 85% is required to enroll into the International Colour Genius Program.
Entrance Exam Cost: $65.00 USD

Online Program

- After passing the entrance exam, please send certificate to j.joa@davines.us.
- You will receive an access link to register for the online program.
- You will receive mannequin and materials.
- Complete self learning through 4 e-modules. All modules and assignments are to be completed by the final exam.
- Monthly check in's with your mentor to go over questions, assignments.
- Once the online program has been completed, please forward the completion certificate to j.joa@davines.us.
- You will receive an access link for the final exam.
Program Cost: $2,200.00 USD

In-Person Program

- After passing the entrance exam, please send certificate to j.joa@davines.us.
- You will receive an access link to register for the in-person program.

- The In-Person Program is 12 days total.
- Session 1: July 20 - July 25, 2025
- Session 2: November 9 - 14, 2025
- The in-person Program is held at Hotel 10 [10 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal Quebec H2X 4C9 · Montreal, Canada]

Program Cost: $2,700.00 USD

Registration Deadline: June 30th

Final Exam - Certification

- After completing the trainings, participant will go through a 3 day final exam consisting of a written exam, skills challenge, and live model testing.
- The final exam is held at Davines House - Brooklyn | 61 N. 11th St. Brooklyn, NY 11249.
- Dates: January 11 - 13 | January 14 - 16 | March 24 - 26

A passing score of 85% is required to be certified as an International Colour Genius.
