About the Event
In this workshop, we'll talk about what the season really brings up, without judgment or pressure to “look on the bright side.”
The holidays can be a mixed experience—joy and connection for some, stress, loneliness, or grief for others. Financial strain, family expectations, and the constant message to “be merry” can make this time of year feel heavier than bright.
This gentle, peer-led workshop offers a space to slow down and talk honestly about what the season really brings up. Together, we'll explore small, compassionate ways to cope—through rest, boundaries, and connection—and reflect on how to care for ourselves and others when things feel complicated.
You don't have to do the holidays perfectly (or even joyfully) to make it through them with care. Whether you're feeling stretched thin, missing someone, or simply looking for a quieter space to breathe, you're welcome here.
What to expect:
- A relaxed, judgment-free environment
- Honest conversation about the emotional realities of the holidays
- Gentle coping tools and practices for self-care
- A sense of connection and shared understanding
Take time for yourself to pause, reflect, and remind your mind and heart that it's okay to feel whatever this season brings.
