About the Event
Expect three genre-blurring acts — vibey, raw, and boundary-pushing. It's not just a show. It's a reset
INFORMAL is your escape from the 9-to-5, exam stress, and the everyday noise. Hosted by Rafael Dies, it's a night showcasing the new wave of indie rock, R&B, and electronic bubbling up in Toronto.
Expect three genre-blurring acts — vibey, raw, and boundary-pushing. It's not just a show. It's a reset. A trip. A moment to zone out, tap in, and feel something real.
This isn't your typical night out. This is INFORMAL.
Rafael Dies is a Toronto-based artist blending alt-rock, R&B, and punk to transform house parties into chaotic punk shows. He forgets his problems, creates new energy, and keeps the vibe wild. Known for unpredictable nights and loud music, one thing's certain. Rafael is always the life of the party.

Chéa is a Toronto-based and Houston-raised artist who uses live instrumentation to draw listeners into his soundscape. With a background in saxophone performance, he combines elements of jazz, hip-hop, and R&B to bring a tiny desk feel to all his music. He lists J Cole, Smino, and Mac Miller as major influences and hopes to make his city proud.

KYERIN: I started making music as a form of research rather than escapism. My music is a pop-adjacent psychedelic dance experiment, the trappy heaviness to melodic dance. I write and produce everything myself, and I grow my style with output. Beyond genre, my art is me trying to become telepathic to my unconscious and to share a collective psychedelic connection of colour, sound, and being.
