ABOUT 10 WOMEN STRONG
We are 10 Women Strong, a passionate collective of women united in purpose - championing women's rights, lifting each other up, and fundraising for causes that create real and lasting change.
This event supports the Foods Program at Ushirika School in Kenya, with a goal of raising $35,000 through One Girl Can to fund the program for another year. After visiting the school in 2023, we witnessed firsthand the impact it has on its students and community. Providing daily nutrition is vital to their well-being, education, and future success - and we are deeply committed to helping make it possible.
ABOUT ONE GIRL CAN
One Girl Can is a registered charity in both Canada and Kenya and has been operating since 2008. We provide an end-to-end experience for young women that starts in high school and culminates in each sponsored student ultimately earning a meaningful living. Our mission is to create opportunity for young women through a holistic model of education, training, and mentorship. These three pillars interconnect organically to alleviate poverty and gender inequality.
