Mary Farrelly, RN, BSN, RNC-NIC, C-ND
The NICU Translator | NICU Nurse, Educator & Doula Trainer

Mary Farrelly is a Level IV NICU nurse, doula, and educator dedicated to changing the NICU experience from one of crisis to connection. As the founder of The NICU Translator, she provides education and resources that help doulas, lactation professionals, and perinatal specialists feel confident supporting families before, during, and after a NICU stay.

Through her signature programs—Navigating the NICU for Doulas and NICU Doula Academy—Mary teaches trauma-informed, evidence-based, and family-centered care rooted in compassion and empowerment. Her work bridges medical insight with emotional support, helping professionals walk alongside families with confidence, empathy, and hope.
