Witches Hearth
Come join your friendly neighbourhood witches for a Yuletide weekend of celebrations and art, at the Croatian Cultural Centre, Decemeber 13th and 14th. Witches Hearth is the first of its kind: a witch-run, Wintery season event that welcomes all, but especially the curious and the magical. You are invited to check out the Hearth Market, which will include artisans and makers from around BC. Come in from the cold and wander among the tables filled with all the handcrafted treasures that Yule season spirits inspire. Local witchy folk will be available to talk about how the darker months of the year are filled with folklore and tradtion, and the beautiful celebration of Yule!
This rumours that Grýla may grace us with her presesnce. We promise she will be nice and only will spread some Yuletide cheer.
Witches Hearth is presented by Nightshade Market and Ravens Veil, Commercial Drive's beloved one-stop magic shop. We hope to inspire a sense of community and inclusion at Witches Hearth, let's celebrate the colder months full of wonder and tradtions by supporting local artisans and enjoying the creative spirit of the Wintery season together!
Witches Hearth takes place at the beautiful historic Croatian Cultural Centre, located at 3250 Commercial Drive.$5 entry at the door and in advance, all door proceeds will be donated to charity.
